The Atlantis Resort has long popular with families. Still, their newest tower, The Reef, which opened late last year, is the choice for families with babies.
They offer cribs, and a fantastic nanny service. The building's gift shop offers baby food, formula and sippy cups if you lose, or run out of your own supply. The prices were not as steep as one would expect either.
Atlantis offers something for every member of the family from babies, to grandparents. These include: a casino, a beach, many pools (stay at The Reef and you have an exclusive pool; stay at another tower, The Cove, and you have an exclusive adult pool). There are also world class restaurants, and excursions for those with deep pockets.
The best part for those on the East Coast are a number of direct flights (most caribbean flights make a stop in Miami). From our home in DC, we made it non-stop to The Bahamas in 2 hours flat!
TRAVEL TIP:
Get that passport for the kids you've been putting off. They'll need it to get enter The Bahamas.
